Saturday Evening Series-Race 1
Working with the tides, the trainee sailors had a blast , first time on the water during the late afternoon , preceding the first of the weekend evening races for club members.
A sizeable fleet entered the water. The Slow Fleet was won by the skilled Malcolm Brookes, Comet leading two others , seen and third, Fi Brown and Rachel Wynn.
The Fast Fleet saw he Lasers out again, Ken Edwards taking the honours from Rick Parker and Paul Libreri.
The Cats were represented by Tony Lane and Hanna Bolton, Assymetrics Dusty Miller and Andy Bullen , and Novices, Helen Etherington.
Eve Fifield again demonstrated her progress as a Cadet, in her Laser 4.7.
Sail training continues for the next 5 weeks , but racing too, weather permitting
