Sun blessed, but wind excess!
Sadly the heavy winds forecast as force 4, gusting to 6 lead to another cancellation, on Saturday , and a small fleet of 4 battling the surges on Sunday . The boats were varied.
Ben Cole’s Cat was handicapped out of the running , and although the experienced Colin Cord with his new Radial sail on his Laser was relishing the conditions, it was Bob Palmer sailing the humble Topper who after handicap won out of the four dinghies. In deed Richard Bratton , Europe was second .
The Club starts its RYA training Course this Saturday , followed by the ridiculously early Early Worm race on Sunday at 7.30…as always weather permitting.
